Assignment:

Our assignment for this project was delivering data to the product database also known as “project information system” (PIM) according to the technical product pages of Legrand. We have delivered this data for a range of Cable Management Systems (CMS) products. The data we provided has been fulfilled according to the ETIM modeling classes. By doing so, the data could be shared with the “open Uniform Objects Bibliotheek” (UOB).
The open UOB is a Dutch initiative in the industry, this will provide products; for any BIM modeling package, according to data driven design.
This provides that Legrand will be up to date in the latest innovations in the Dutch virtual design and construction (VDC) industries.
